Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology is one of the largest pathology practices in Australia, providing comprehensive services to patients and doctors over a geographic area throughout Queensland and New South Wales and employing more than 2000 people.
Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology has an exciting opportunity for a Medical Liaison Manager to join their team in Cairns on a part-time basis (3 days a week).
This is a highly mobile role, working on territory in a “hybrid” sales and customer service capacity. A typical day will be spent visiting medical practices, where your focus will be to communicate and facilitate marketing activities that assist in the successful roll-out of services to grow business. Office time will be involve collaborating with your manager and the medical liaison group; analysing and reporting on business development success; reviewing results and strategic planning; and customer service resolution.
A key component of this role will include attending seminars and conferences as a business representative, which may require "out of hours" work including early mornings, evenings and weekends. You will also be required to travel to Brisbane for training and developing skills essential to the position.
To be considered for this position you will have the strong communication skills necessary to establish strong positive relationships with customers, doctors and key medical personnel.
A creative problem solver and effective negotiator, you will be confident presenting and delivering product related information to doctors to influence and drive referrals for business growth.
You will be proactive and enthusiastic, taking a solution-driven approach and able to ensure successful outcomes through effective change management within accounts.
If you have a laboratory background with a keen interest in sales or marketing this will be considered a plus.
